The World's Fastest Moving Pregnancy...

Or, at least it feels like it! We're 23 weeks (out of 40 for you non moms or preggos reading) and some change as of today, and it was time to go back in for my monthly OB appointment. I know- that's really not very exciting at all, and perhaps even a little TMI for you easily embarrassed types. But, what we were excited about today was getting an extra ultrasound, since the tech was not able to get views and measurements that were needed of the baby's spine at last month's anatomy ultrasound. Eric and I dropped Jackson off with our wonderful friend and neighbor Suzanne, and headed to our appointment. We couldn't imagine that an energetic toddler, a lengthy office visit, and thousands of dollars worth of state of-the-art ultrasound equipment would mix well. As of today's ultrasound, it's still a girl, and everything looks great. Here she is- already a knockout. Get a load of those cheekbones!

Our next appointment on March 31st will mark the beginning of the end of the pregnancy- the third trimester! Already!
