Progress... Already?!?

Went to the Dr. today for my 36 week appointment (I'm 35 weeks, 6 days- but who's counting, right? ;)). I'm already 1 cm dilated, 70% effaced! The Dr. and I were a little surprised to find that things are starting to happen, although I guess I shouldn't be. I've started to feel different and have had contractions over the past week. In other ever so slightly worrisome news, I'm also measuring 2 weeks ahead. The Dr. thought it was a very good idea for me to get an ultrasound next week (Thursday) to check the size of the baby. I'm a little nervous, since I never measured ahead at all with Jackson. I don't want to be pressured into an early induction based on the results of the ultrasound. However, I'm very excited for the ultrasound, because we get to see Ella again (and you know, make sure she's still a girl, and all that good stuff) ! :)
